The town of Soham is situated in East Cambridgeshire, on the A142 between Newmarket and Ely and approximately 6 miles from the A14.

Soham town centre offers a good selection of pubs, eat-in and takeaway restaurants and a chance to shop in both independent and national retail stores.

Soham has rich and varied history and there has been evidence of a settlement existing in Soham since the Stone Age. Documented history goes back to the year 630 AD when St. Felix of Burgundy 'The Apostle of the East Angles' is said to have founded an Abbey here.

The main industry in Soham is agriculture and the surrounding countryside provides a prosperous farming community. Soham is also a popular commuter town for nearby Cambridge, Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds.
