Cheltenham Spa, in the heart of the Cotswolds, is a beautiful and vibrant town renowned for its regency architecture, festivals, horseracing, nightlife, stylish shops and colourful parks. Cheltenham became a Spa town in 1716 and received royal patronage in 1788 when King George III came to drink the waters. The town has distinctive regency and neo-gothic architecture. Buildings of note are the Cheltenham Ladies College, Pittville Pump Rooms and Promenade Municipal Offices.
From Cheltenham there is easy access to Gloucester, the M5 and M50. Bristol is just 35 miles. It is also just a few miles from the beautiful Cotswold Hills and Forest of Dean.
